Rocket is a 20-year-old sorrel Paso Fino gelding with a heart as big as his story. He was the very first horse we ever took in—and the reason Texas Made Horse Rescue exists today. When his previous owners moved away, Rocket was left alone in the pasture, missing the companionship he once had. We brought him home so he’d never be lonely again, and before long, we began rescuing other horses to be his friends.
Gentle, intelligent, and full of personality, Rocket has been with us from the beginning. His sweet nature and quiet strength remind us every day why we do what we do.
